Time is

  like nobody's

   business 

  but there's a day out there

     taking up time

   with its bright hazy sky

  The crazy guy down the hall's

  door squeaks

   He's recording us talk

   In the living room

It's all going into his reports

to the authorities

  he has countless pages of "evidence"

and he can refute all our claims

  but he doesn't have time
