I went to a well known Chinese restaurant

Near North Beach 

I asked for water

 They didn't bring it

I ordered and asked for a coke

  Still no water

They brought a can of coke

I asked for a glass

  They said they'd bring it 

They didn't 

I got up to get a glass

"Oh we'll get it"

"That's what you said about the water but I haven't seen that."

A couple near by was seated after me. They ordered and got their food. 

Still nothing. I finished the coke, put on my coat and left.

A woman looked at me as I left. 

I went to North Beach and got the best slice of pizza I've had in years. 

Five bucks. The Chinese food would have cost five times that. Hah!
