My atrophy 

had a name 

a sign

   a letter

               Bleeker street

                       never shot heroin

like a named atrophy

But that's neither here nor there

Sleeping all summer

On a sidewalk 

          Near MacDougall st 

         -The famous cafe

       the famous comedy place

     That great pizza place

                          The not so good Chinese restaurant 

They were all in attendance

When they scooped me up

and whisked me away

    Upstate they called it
