The haiku hitched its pants up

       And looked out the window 

  It's hand against a cold can of tokay wine

A turgid breeze named Evelyn 

   Sat in the car

    A 2013 Hyundai Accent

The haiku coughed 

   combed its hair

  And opened the door 

To another planetary good bye
