The winter is here

It's always here

Waiting outside 

It smiles and says hey come on out

Or at least open a window

Some say It's not Winter!

But they just don't know

I don't hold anything against them

It's not their fault

The snow falls in July

Icicles in April

Even inside the house there's hale 

Like popcorn 

I don't pay attention anymore

I wear shorts even in winter

So I wear shorts all year

It's not bad

It's actually pretty comfortable

I once traveled to the very north

But all they had was summer and summer

With no sunlight

I thought it was pretty great

For about two seconds
