There were no dreams on Mars

Every night we wondered what happened

We'd close our eyes and sleep but 

It was a dark night 

We'd wake and feel fine but something was missing

Then we started dreaming while we were awake

You'd be talking working on something and the other 

Person would just start saying ridiculous stuff

Or your dad would walk in and he's been dead for years

He'd act normal and so would you

Well I guess you could say things didn't go too well after that.
