I treasured the lost thought of nothing
It was left behind
In a forgotten day
I
Who
Prided
Himself
On just about everything
Was no longer up for the night
I plunged into the sea
And swam with sea creatures
Black and grey and blue
The world was not identifiable
Words spilled out of my mouth at random
Blustering hateful
Miserable sad
Words unworthy of the day
But at night they seemed right
