Stupid is in have you been diagnosed?

 My old gray car ran out of gas. 

I left it on the side road just off the campus for a couple weeks and got a gas can and gave it a gallon or so and headed off down the hill. 

There's a four way stop at the entrance to the school and a motorcycle cop was crossing. I went to stop and nothing. The pedal went to the floor and the car kept going right at the cop. FUCK! 

I barely missed him like an inch and he was freaked out and siren blaring he turned around and came after me. I was pumping the brake pedal madly and finally I just slammed it into Park. I ground to a stop. 

"YOU KNEW YOUR BRAKES WERE NO GOOD!"

I got a fix it ticket and proceeded on with my glorious day.
