I went and visited an old friend 

she didn't look too good she'd 

gotten out of a 30 day rehab and she was drinking again

She said she felt horrible until she got the first drink

Both her and her bf were unemployed. She lost her job at the EPA and he was self employed working for wineries.

Wineries are tanking right now, she said, read any newspaper. She played piano and had a couple records out but nothing that made any money. 

She said after the next two gigs she was going to the hospital for a kind of hospital rehab. I didn't ask. 

She said her eightyfive year old parents were riding a three wheeled motorcycle to South Dakota.
