perhaps
the essence
of proper nomenclature
resides
in a little bungalow down
near the tracks
you can walk to the Creamery
once you leave the Ho Chi Minh trail
This was before Farley Mowat,
Trevor Novak, or Spot
you could walk down the arroyo to the lake
but it eventually filled with mud, the lake that is,  and
the county wouldn't allow it to be cleaned out
with a bulldozer
perhaps the essence of proper nomenclature
moved to California
from New Hampshire 
some would argue against
going to the concert at Altamont
but it did see the Woodstock documentary
when it came out
it was shown at the Vine Theater
in 1970
