In the early sixties

My sisters were on the TV show Boomtown!

They said I was too little

I think I cried?

We went to NYC

And they took us to the Empire State Building

When they pointed it out and said 

We're going to the top

I rebelled! I definitely cried!

And I didn't have to go!

Hah! One for me!

When they said we're moving to California

I tried the same thing

I took my baseball bat and my pillow

And got out of the car

"I'm not going!"

Didn't work that time
