The petticoat blues

  in green and gold

Stir the heart

   Steeped in the essence 

Of dog fur and

Cats eyes

  blankets with Navajo symbols

and bacon sandwiches 

  time is forgotten

   But hay fever rules the day

Spring is here!

  the trees blossoms 

     cause listlessness and

headaches
