There was no nothing
it was
   all
something
 he tried to
make something
 and it was
never nothing
    something
     was
 he thought
 something
   that would never be nothing;
the dark place was in his head
     it was something
         they prescribed something
and it seemed like nothing
  he could have laughed about it
     but he decided to get a beer
and forget about it
