GENETIC POISON

he crossed the brain sea

In a cardboard boat 

      no life preservers 

           for him

      just an owl and a toy laser gun

             climbing the waves 

         with an aluminum ladder of owl screeches

   "Say oh say sweet darlin'"

         His girlfriend was fussing 

    with her dads broken camera

          "No camera islands as far the eye can see!"

      She posed naked on the waves 

     And watched owl fish 

       dive bombing
