The abandoned memnonic devices
   Turned with a screw
      To forgetfullness
           And capriciousness
 A room uncleaned
     Sleeping on a pile of laundered clothes
Cigarette butts overflowing the ashtray
      But signs are hard to find
         That are not filled with bullet holes
             In this road side rest stop
