    It's a beautiful spring day in May

      He texted a young woman in New York

 and she laughed out loud- for real, not just a

lol 

There are a lot of lol's with no real laughs

   but the thought's there

In TFIA's day there were no lols

  Just empty tomato cans and newspapers.

Sometimes you had to walk blocks to find a payphone

and some guy would be talking to a gal he was hot for in Houston.

"Baby, just get on the Greyhound and come out. It will be perfect."

  He would keep putting coins in the telephone.
